The fourth grade wishes our families and friends a Christmas holiday filled with many blessings.
                                                                             
Religion:  Students will be studying the seasons of the liturgical year and making Advent promises.
Math:  After a review of basic facts, students will be learning to multiply with two-digit factors.
English:  Students will learn to distinguish between similes and metaphors, and then challenged to use figurative language in writing assignments.
Reading:  Lessons on using the context to unlock word meaning are planned for this month.
Social Studies:  Students will explore the hardships faced by early pioneers to California.
