Making sure that students understand the concepts of paraphrasing, quoting and doing research is an important goal of the Junior High staff.  Each grade is taught and reminded of these ideals in Literature class, and they are reinforced across the curriculum.  It is important that students respect the work done by others and understand the need to use research as a guide to creating original thoughts and insights.  Citing the sources referenced during research on a bibliography page is an important part of that process.  The following link will allow students to download samples of the proper format the St. Jerome Junior High staff has adopted for a Bibliography page.
