A very important element of the project is to create a "decorative/security wall" between the church and the school to aid in the protection of the school children and staff. This permanent decorative wall would replace the temporary parking fence and gates at the lower end of die school play area. We recognize the safety of each child is of vital importance. The wall is in a highly visible place on the church property, so the wall will be constructed widi decorative rock and designed rod iron fencing.

In addition to the wall, the south property line chain link fence diat stretches from the cellular tower to die school, will be replaced with a seven (7) foot high rod iron fence. This will be the same style of fencing diat encloses the rest of the school property. The current chain link fence in that location is dilapidated and does not provide adequate security.

Another element to enhance the security of the property is to add six (6) additional lights to illuminate the entire parking area. Right now the church's outdoor lighting situation is inadequate for die safety and security of our parish community. The Saint Jerome Parish community's safety is of die utmost importance to this project.
