Today, the spirit of the Saint Jerome Parish community is fully alive. With over 1600 Catholic households and more than 5,000 people, Saint Jerome Church not only strives to honor the memory of the heroic sacrifices and courage of die past generation, but welcomes the opportunity to take up the challenges and goals of today and to plan for the future with the same determination and faith.
Our ministries and programs including, Just Faith, Hospitality, Youth Ministry, Senior Center, Respect Life, Peace & Justice, Scripture Study, and many others continue to thrive under the direction of great leaders within our parish community. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit these wonderful Christian outreaches will continue to bring forth bountiful fruit.
Saint Jerome School has seen many changes throughout the years and continues to flourish. Since the late 1970's the school has accommodated one classroom per grade with a total enrollment of approximately 300 students. The school has been under the direction of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet for its entire existence. The school has seen nine Sisters' assume the principal role and since 1996, Sister Donna Anne Bachman C.J.S. has taken on that responsibility.
In 2005 Saint Jerome Church conducted a self-study of the vitality and viability of the Parish. Our goal was to gather specific information,

which would give us a better idea of the strength and longevity of Saint Jerome Church. Our findings were very positive. The overwhelming, number one asset of our church is something that we see every day, our beautiful and expansive facilities and property. Our church building seats more than 1000 people and is still one of the most recognizable and unique churches in the area. And our vast parking area is the envy of every other church on the Westside.
With vibrant parish ministries, a solid financial foothold, and more room for growth, Saint Jerome Church is destined to continue serving this Catholic community for the next 60 years.
