Student Government

Student Governement. Developing responsible Christian leadership qualities in the students is an important focus at St. Jerome School. The Student Council, in conjunction with its moderator, plans activities throughout the school year. Student Council members ordinarily meet once weekly. Members may not miss more than three meetings during the year.
 

Qualifications

President, Vice-President & Secretary 86% average or better in scholarship, with no grade lower than a 70%. Must have “G” or better in conduct and effort.

Student Body Treasurer 86% average or higher in scholarship,with no grade lower than a 70% “G” or better in conduct and effort 86% or higher average in Math



All Other Positions 75% or higher average in scholarship “ G” or better in conduct and effort



Council members who are suspended from Council membership due to disqualifying behavior, effort, or academic performance may not participate in Council meetings or Council projects. A student may be removed from Student Council participation at any time that his/her behavior, effort, and academic achievement fall below the above-identified levels.
