Discipline in every Catholic School is to be considered as an aspect of moral guidance and not a form of punishment. Discipline is necessary to:
- Provide a classroom situation conducive to learning.
- Increase respect for duly constituted authority.
- Promote the personal development of the student.
- Protect the welfare of all from the abuses of a few.
It is the responsibility of parents to support our policy and to help their children to accept any consequences of their actions in a mature way. School Rules
- Show respect for God, others, self, and property.
- Use appropriate language and voice control.
- Be responsible and prepared with work and materials.
- Keep hands, feet, and objects where they belong.
- Follow directions and school/classroom policies.
A more defined list of rules is stated under “Grading” in this policy manual The Administration reserves the right to issue a suspension for behaviors that may not be listed above but require a serious consequence. THE PRINCIPAL (AND/OR PASTOR) IS THE FINAL RECOURSE IN ALL DISCIPLINARY SITUATIONS AND MAY WAIVE ANY AND ALL REGULATIONS FOR JUST CAUSE AT HIS OR HER DISCRETION.
