Dear Parents,

     Aloha! The Hawaiian raffle is here!  The annual SJS Hawaiian Raffle sponsored by the Hannon Foundation is waiting for you outside this Sunday. Here is your opportunity for a wonderful Hawaiian vacation and a chance to help our parish school all at the same time. Students will be selling tickets after each Mass this weekend. . Tickets are $1 each or 21 for $20. Perhaps YOU will be enjoying a Hawaiian adventure in your very near future. Invest in a handful of raffle tickets today!            

     Save the date-February 2! St. Jerome School will have an Open House at 6:30 PM. You are cordially invited to bring family, friends and neighbors to see the wonderful things that are happening at our school. Guided tours will be led by our great Student Council members.

Open House Volunteers Needed: Earn hours helping at Open House on February 2.  We need parents and grandparents who would like to set up, direct visitors, and lead tours.  Email your name and phone number to jmigneault@stjeromewestchester.org to sign up.

Dental Testing:  If you are in need of service hours and would like to help with the dental screening on February 7th at 8:00 am, please contact Felecia Dufauchard at : 323-309-4835 or Feleciamh@hotmail.com. I need at least 4 parents to assist the dentists and  update health records. Thank you!

HawaiiAN raffle: Hawaiian raffle has taken off! Keep selling! Remember, you earn dollar-for-dollar credit toward your SJS fundraising obligation. If your customers wish to have receipts they are available in the office or they can be emailed to you. Return 20 sold tickets by Fri.,Jan. 20 to earn a non-uniform day on Thurs.,Jan. 26! Sell Hawaiian Raffle Tickets After Mass on Jan 21 and Jan 22: Aloha! Students are invited to sell Hawaiian raffle tickets to our St. Jerome parishioner after each Mass on Saturday and Sunday. Parents, come with your child and earn participation hours! If you're interested, please contact Diane Wade at (323) 377-8095 or by email DiDldy@aol.com.

EXTENDED CARE PAYMENTS: If you do not pay extended care through SMART Tuition, your payments are due on the 10th of the month. A late fee will apply for any payments made after the 10th.

GENERAL FEES/PARENT OBLIGATIONS: April 30th is the dead-line for submitting participation hours,

meeting fundraising obligations, and paying the general fee for next year.

NO PARKING: Parking in front of Building B is for Pre-k parents only!

ST. JEROME SCHOOL RECYCLING: Our St. Jerome School Recycling Program is in full swing!  Bring ALL your bottles and cans!  Our school recycling program is designed to educate our children about the importance of recycling by encouraging them to make recycling a part of their everyday lives.  Every Friday you will be able to drop off your bottles and cans via carpool drop off/pick up or walk it up to one of our designated receptacles on the school grounds.  If you would like to become one of our Recycling Volunteers, please contact Renett Young.

GOT OLD ELECTRONICS? RECYCLING EVENT to be held on Sunday, February 12thfrom 9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Proceeds will benefit St. Jerome School. You can drop off your old electronic items in the parking lot.  Please tell your family, friends, neighbors and employer about this easy way to properly dispose of their items.  Nothing will go into our landfill! You will get a tax write-off and rid yourself of unwanted materials that will benefit the school.  If you should need to drop off your items prior to the event, please contact Renett Young.
