Discipline Policy
Discipline in every Catholic School is to be considered as an aspect of moral guidance and not a form of punishment. Discipline is necessary to:
a. Provide a classroom situation conducive to learning.
b. Increase respect for duly constituted authority.
c. Promote the personal development of the student.
d. Protect the welfare of all from the abuses of a few.
It is the responsibility of parents to support our policy and to help their children to accept any consequences of their actions in a mature way.
School Rules 1. Show respect for God, others, self, and property. 2. Use appropriate language and voice control. 3. Be responsible and prepared with work and materials. 4. Keep hands, feet, and objects where they belong. 5. Follow directions and school/classroom policies.
A more defined list of rules is stated under “Grading” in this policy manual
The Administration reserves the right to issue a suspension for behaviors that may not be listed above but require a serious consequence. THE PRINCIPAL (AND/OR PASTOR) IS THE FINAL RECOURSE IN ALL DISCIPLINARY SITUATIONS AND MAY WAIVE ANY AND ALL REGULATIONS FOR JUST CAUSE AT HIS OR HER DISCRETION.
