Dear Parents,
“Blessed are the poor in spirit…blessed are they who mourn, blessed are the meek, blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, blessed are the merciful, blessed are the clean of heart, blessed are the peacemakers, blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter ever kind of evil against you falsely because of me…” Different beatitudes speak to us at different times, depending on what we are experiencing. I don’t want to be persecuted or insulted, and I don’t want to mourn. But I can handle these things if they happen for the right reason.Jesus assures us that we will be blessed through all of our trials. We are God’s children and we are loved. Does any one of the beatitudes speak to you at this time, and if so are you believing God’s promise?
Our parish truck has given up the ghost for some time now. We have begun to realize how difficult it is to do so many of our chores without a truck. If you, or if know anyone else who plans to sell a truck ,and it is in fine working condition, please let us know. Perhaps we would be able to purchase it from you.
Our thanks to Mr. Billups, Mrs. McGee, and the Student Council for a well planned Halloween parade. I think our angels, princesses, soldiers, etc. all had a good time posing for the paparazzi. I know that I enjoyed watching the parade go by.
Have a good week and God bless you!
